WebWe just got a nice cabinet set/workbench for the garage. We need to anchor the cabinets to the wall, but there is gap between the wall and the back of the cabinets (when garage was made, a concrete foundation was poured, and the walls built on top of that but not flush with it). The concrete is about 12" high and about 3" deep from the wall. WebGaps in kitchen cabinets shaker style. We hired a painter/ carpenter to paint our existing kitchen cabinets and to make new fronts for the kitchen instead of the old ones. The kitchen was sanded and painted nicely but the shaker style doors that he made had lots of gaps on the face of the doors. Its hard to explain so here are a few pictures.

Measure the width and height of the gap at the bottom, add about 4" to the measurements and cut a piece of wood to size. Paint the horizontal support and insert and screw in from the inside of the cupboard.
